Social Buttons Module
Use the Social Buttons module to add social sharing buttons for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ to encourage visitors to share your content.
The Social Buttons module has been deprecated since 2018, starting with version 2.1 of Beaver Builder, and is no longer recommended for use. Its code has not been updated in several years and remains available only for backwards compatibility. For better performance, compatibility, and ongoing support, we strongly recommend using a dedicated social sharing plugin instead.
Usage​
Use the Social Buttons module to add social media sharing buttons to your layout. Visitors can share your content on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+. You can configure the buttons to share the current page URL or a custom URL.
For more social networks or advanced sharing features, use a dedicated social sharing plugin embedded through the HTML module, or create individual social buttons with the Button Group module.
Module Settings​
The Social Buttons module settings control which social buttons display and what URL they share.
General tab​
The General tab configures which social buttons appear and the URL they share.
Target URL Default: Current Page
Determines which URL the social buttons share.
- Current Page: Shares the URL of the page where the module is placed.
- Custom: Shares a specific URL you provide.
Custom URL
Custom URL
The specific URL to share when Target URL is set to Custom.
Alignment Default: left
Controls the horizontal alignment of the social buttons within their container.
Show Facebook Default: yes
Shows or hides the Facebook share button.
Show Twitter Default: yes
Shows or hides the Twitter share button.
Show Google+ Default: yes
Shows or hides the Google+ share button.
Advanced tab​
The Advanced tab includes all the standard settings for margins, visibility, animations, and advanced HTML configurations.
